We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Walton Branch! This state-of-the-art facility is more than a place to borrow books—it’s a vibrant community hub designed to inspire, educate and connect people of all ages!

With its modern architecture, spacious reading areas and cozy nooks, it’s the perfect spot to escape into a good book or catch up on work. In addition, this 25,000 square foot library space has many features such as:

• Drive-thru book pickup and book drop

• Outdoor courtyard

• Programming area with natural incline

• Boone Innovation Lab (BIL)

• Internet cafe

• Computer desks for parent with built-in play area for child

• Indoor fireplace

• Inclusive bathroom with sensory elements and adult changing tables

• Limited wider family parking spots for parents with children in strollers

• Demonstration kitchen

• Rough-ins for electric cars coming later in the year

• Solar panels on the roof and a geothermal system to lower electric costs
