Debbie Dutton-Lambert joined the Boone County Public Library Board of Trustees in 2024 and serves as the Secretary. She is committed to advocating for library services in Boone County that meet the needs of all taxpayers. An avid reader, Debbie believes that libraries are a critical resource for every community. When she learned that the Chapin Memorial Library in Petersburg had temporarily closed, she worked with community members to campaign for its re-opening.

Debbie has over 45 years of experience in executive leadership and consulting, specializing in workforce development for individuals facing employment challenges. She has developed and administered evidence-based vocational programs and led strategic partnerships with employers, community organizations and government entities. As a CARF International Surveyor, she has provided expertise in quality assurance, risk management and strategic planning. Debbie is published in psychiatric rehabilitation and workforce development. Currently, she is a forensic rehabilitation expert witness and runs an independent career counseling practice.

Debbie and her husband, Phil, moved to Boone County from Ohio in 2021, where they purchased the historic Loder home on the Ohio River in Petersburg, Kentucky. Their favorite hobby is collecting and displaying antiques in their home.
