Pamela Goetting joined the Boone County Public Library Foundation as an inaugural member in 2022, after serving eight years on the BCPL Board of Trustees as Treasurer and President. She currently serves as the Foundation’s Vice President.
Pam is a graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, and enjoyed a long career as a banking Senior Vice President in commercial lending, private banking and management. She currently leads the Roundtable program at the Goering Center for Family and Private Business within the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business.
Pam is a lifelong resident of Boone County and graduated from Conner High School. “My mother, Linda Bryant, instilled my love of reading at an early age and she spent 25 years working in my high school library,” said Pam. “She inspired me to advocate for our public library, so all residents have access to learning through books, programs, media and community events.”
Pam also serves on the Board of Directors for the Boone Conservancy and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Finance Committee of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, and the Boone County Planning Commission. She and her husband, Mark, have two adult children and enjoy traveling, sporting events and reading. “I’m honored to support our world class library system that offers everything from makerspaces and genealogy databases to high-speed internet and meeting spaces. The library is an asset that enriches our community.”
