Patrick Raverty is a lifelong resident of Boone County, having grown up in Florence and lived in rural Boone County for over 40 years. His professional career included Chief Operating Officer at Family Service of Cincinnati and Director of Business Development for Baptist Life Communities, Vector Construction, and Turnbull-Wahlert Construction. He also founded Northern Kentucky Nursing Services, a home health agency.

Patrick has also been involved in civic endeavors and organizations. He served as Boone County Commissioner and has held leadership roles including President of the Northern Kentucky International Trade Association, Catholic Charities, the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission, the Kentucky Mental Health Association, the Kenton-Boone Cable Television Board, the University of Kentucky Boone County Extension Council, and the R.C. Durr YMCA. Currently, he chairs the Council on Aging for the Northern Kentucky Area Development District and serves on the boards of the Florence Rotary Foundation and the World Affairs Council of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Patrick’s leadership has earned him notable recognition, including being named one of the Five Outstanding Young Persons of Kentucky by the Kentucky Jaycees and receiving the Thomas More University Alumni Citizenship Award for community service.

Now retired, Patrick resides on his family farm along the Ohio River in Rabbit Hash with his wife, Patty. Together, they enjoy traveling and recently returned from an extensive trip to South America, visiting Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. They have two daughters and four grandchildren, all of whom live in Boone County.

As the founding president of the Boone County Public Library Foundation Board, Patrick states, “The library is often the heart of a community. I am happy to help BCPL continue to thrive, providing a place for the citizens of Boone County to go and grow.”
