I’d like to see a local songwriter’s night!
Hi Steve: I’m Scott and we run a non-profit, pop-up listening room music series and we’re doing a local songwriter’s in-the-round invite evening in Florence, KY. I invite you to check it out at our website at http://www.downtownelisteningroom.com.
Hi Steve: Not sure if my last comment took. We run a local, non-profit, invite based, listening room music series in NKY. Got a show ion Florence in March. Check it out at http://www.DowntowneListeningRoom.com
Me too
There is a wealth of local bands. Why not have them perform? Maybe alternating weeks with more established bands?
Northern Kentucky Bluegrass Music Association NKBMA also has MANY local talents. They have jams several times a month open to public in various locations. They also have bands that play for parties, weddings, events and festivals.
We love the local concerts at the library. We also run local non-profit music shows around the NKY area. Please check out http://www.DownTowneListeningRoom.com. Thx!
Why does the library shun classical music in its concerts? A piano concert of light classics would be great. The Cincy Symphony orchestra has priced itself out of my budget.
Hi Ron – I like this idea. I have passed your suggestion along to the Community Events Liaison that plans our music/concerts.
Hi — I’m Scott and we run a non-profit, pop-up listening room music series in the NKY area and we do local songwriters, Nashville style, in-the-round events. I’d love to help plan one at BCPL. I invite you to check out our website at http://www.downtownelisteningroom.com.
How about a teen concert show occasionally?
Hi Deanna!
Thank you for your suggestion- I have passed it along to the Community Events Liaison that plans our music/concerts.
I am a local singer/songwriter/recording artist/ keyboardist, & am available…you can check my stuff & info out at Gig Salad/Randy Wallace.

this would be pretty cool, I myself am in a teen band and this would be awesome
Do you need to register?
Hi Leah! Registration is not required for our upcoming concerts. Hope to see you there!
How about another song-along. I missed the last one.
Where do we make comments about concert appearances after seeing/ attending?
Hi Frank,
We’d love to hear your thoughts! Feel free to share your feedback in the comments on this blog.
You can also join the conversation on our Facebook event posts for each of our concerts—they’re open for comments too!
Would love to see Ben Levin at the BCPL. We saw him a couple of years ago at Hebron with two other guys… however, he’s awesome on his own. Blues have never sounded so good!
