Transparent Language
BCPL’s new language learning service offers courses in more than 140 languages, including American Sign Language and multiple dialects of French, Spanish and Arabic. Transparent also includes KidSpeak, a program designed for students in kindergarten through second grade.
PrepSTEP High School
PrepSTEP High School offers micro-lessons and tutorials to help students succeed in high school, including topics such as how to take better notes and strategies for multitasking. It also features dedicated sections on information literacy and AI literacy.
LearningExpress Library
LearningExpress Library offers guided courses to help students prepare for the ACT, SAT and 23 different AP exams. ACT and SAT courses break each test into individual sections with targeted strategies, skills reviews, progress checks, full-length practice tests, and flashcards. AP exam resources include two full-length practice exams for each subject, along with study interactives. Many subjects also feature eBooks, flashcards and fact sheets to support your study sessions.
Opposing Viewpoints
Opposing Viewpoints presents multiple perspectives on 492 current issues, along with academic, magazine and newspaper articles, statistics, primary sources, videos and vetted websites. It’s a great place to start research papers and persuasive essays.
Gale Literature Resource Center
Gale Literature Resource Center provides historical context and literary criticism for literary works, including primary sources, genre and theme analysis and author biographies.
