3D printing brings your ideas to life with an endless opportunity for creativity! Create a design and bring it to life with the 3D printer in the BIL at the Hebron Branch.

A 3D printer melts plastic, and then layer by layer builds an item from a computer file. The 3D printers at the BIL use PLA plastic filament to print smaller items like miniatures, figurines, toys, tools, bowls, vases and more.

It’s easy to get started with 3D printing and designing by using online resources. Search for free 3D downloadable files or design one yourself. Then make an appointment at the BIL and watch your creation come to life!

Prints small items in PLA plastic in a variety of colors for 10 cents a gram. Prints must take less than 12 hours to print and must be picked up within 5 days of completion.

Located at the Main Library, Hebron Branch, and Walton Branch, the BIL is a place to create, learn, and preserve memories. For more information or to reserve equipment visit Boone Innovation Lab. Hours vary according to staff availability. Appointments are required.
