3D printing brings your idea to life!

3D printing brings an endless opportunity for creativity and can be so much fun! Create a design and bring it to life with the 3D printer in the BIL at the Hebron Branch.

A BCPL library card in good standing is needed to use the equipment in the BIL. Don’t have one? Stop by any of our locations to sign up!

A 3D printer melts plastic, and then layer by layer builds an item from a computer file. The 3D printers at the BIL use PLA plastic filament to print smaller items like miniatures, figurines, toys, tools, bowls, vases and more.

It’s easy to get started with 3D printing and designing by using online resources. Search for free 3D downloadable files or design one yourself. Then make an appointment at the BIL and watch your creation come to life!

Prints small items in PLA plastic in a variety of colors for 10 cents a gram. Prints must take less than 12 hours to print and must be picked up within 5 days of completion.
